University of Wyoming
The University of Wyoming offers a Master’s in Finance that incorporates coursework on the fundamentals of business and management along with the principles and theory of finance. Students may choose to pursue the degree with a thesis, in which case the credit hours of regular coursework are reduced, or to take additional credits with a shorter final paper. Electives can be chosen from appropriate level offerings in finance and/or economics. The majority of students are prepared to graduate in one to two years. Graduate students can listen to guest speakers during regular seminars held on campus, and may also participate in weekly presentations from faculty and fellow students. The University of Wyoming offers additional learning resources appropriate to its standing as a research institution, including its Office of Research & Economic Development and Wyoming Technology Business Center.
